Window Tint: Commercial or residential window film
The trend towards more open floor
plans and areas that bring the outdoors inside is unmistakable. Today's
homes and commercial buildings use more glass than ever before. As
attractive as this is, it leads to a host of problems ranging from
excessive glare, heat build-up and high energy costs to the premature
fading of carpets, furniture and draperies.
LLumar window film can alleviate these problems while providing
increased comfort and lower overall costs.
LLumar films are available in reflective and
non-reflective finishes and can be clear, colored, or
patterned to blend with various design schemes. Depending on the film selected,
LLumar can cut from 12 to 93 percent of incoming light, eliminate 99% of the
harmful ultraviolet radiation to protect fabrics and finishes, block 92% of
glare and cut up to 76% of solar heat gain through the glass.
Increase Comfort by Reducing Heat
and Glare
Working in an office or relaxing at home in direct sunlight
can result in fatigue, eyestrain and loss of concentration. Llumar is a retrofit
product installed directly to the interior side of the glass. It helps correct
temperature imbalances between sunny and shady areas and it deflects harsh,
uncomfortable glare. Employees are more comfortable and more productive.
Reduce Heating and Cooling Costs
Winter heat loss through windows can cause discomfort to
building occupants and unnecessarily high energy bills. Low emissivity
insulating film applied to the inside face of ordinary single-glazed windows
decreases heat loss by up to 30%. In summer LLumar films reduce the cost of
cooling a building by rejecting up to 79% of the sun's heat.
Help Prevent Premature Fading
Over time, the rays of the sun fade whatever is in their path. But
professionally installed Llumar film blocks out 99% of the damaging ultraviolet
rays that ordinary windows allow in. That means that draperies, furniture,
upholstery and carpeting will last longer.
Common myths about window tint
It will have bubbles and distort your
view
It is common for small bubbles to form immediately
after installation. They will disappear as the sun heats the
glass in within 14 days. Your glass will be completely clear
after our factory certified installers are finished.
Tint will peel, crack, and bubble like
the back windows you see on old cars
This will never
happen with our films. The adhesive and quality of the film is
completely different than the film that is installed on cars. If
you ever have a problem with your film, the warranty will cover
the replacement free of charge.
Tint will make your room dark
Only
if you want it to. You can choose from clear, 50% visibility,
65% visibility, 35% visibility, or 20% visibility. We have a
complete book to choose from. Choose red, blue, silver, bronze,
black, neutral or whatever shade you like.
Window tint will violate my glass warranty
LLumar window film has been tested and certified
not to cause seal failure or glass breakage. If your
windows are under a manufacturer's warranty, LLumar will pick up
your warranty for a period of two years.
